Brandi passante gained fame after her appearance on the A&E show 'Storage wars', a reality show that starred Jarrod Schulz. Both of them gained the attention of the public through this series. The show's theme is that the contents of storage units on which rent has not been paid for three months are offered for auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California took part in this show hoping to get affordable storage units. However, they didn't realize of the potential to make them superstars in real life! Over the course the show they became stars. After they appeared on the television reality show, they were successful in increasing the size of their shop. Their 'Storage War' appearance resulted in a spinoff show called 'Brandi and Jarrod The Marriage of a Job, that focused on the couple.
